These bangles are tightly woven and slightly larger than the flip flop bracelets that are made by the same group of Fisher-Women in Mali, West Africa. Recycled prayer mats are used in making these very unique bracelets. They are worn by both men and women and they are slightly larger than the flip flop bracelets and work very well for larger hands.

These bangles can be worn in the shower or the ocean as they are water resistant. Ten bracelets are shown in the photo and the listing is for 5 bracelets. Wearing multiple bracelets accentuates the look.
